Challenger Learning Center of Arizona

The Challenger Center is a space themed learning environment
for adults, children, seniors, and businesses. The Center includes
a Mission Control Center, Space Craft, interactive exhibit area, video
theatre, Galaxy Gift shop, and exhibitions. Reservations can be made
to fly a simulated space mission. Rendezvous with a Comet.

Historic Sahuaro Ranch

Oldest and best preserved, the 1885 homestead contains 17 restored
original buildings. Changing historical exhibits, home tours and special
events highlight the agricultural history of the west valley.

Adobe Mountain Railroad Museum and Desert Railroad

Displays include a small, narrow-gauge 1884 locomotive, model
railroad layouts, and prototype historical displays. Display themes do

Hoo-hoogam Ki Museum

Features the cultural heritage of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa
Community from the ancient Hohokam to the present, with exhibits on
Pima basketry, Maricopa pottery, traditional dress, and veterans. The
museum is located in a traditional “sandwich” style building made of
adobe and desert plants. Gift shop and kitchen.

Dugan’s Dairy Farm

Tour the farm, milk a cow, and go on a hayride at Dugan’s Dairy Farm.
There is also a petting zoo with small farm animals.

Hike this river that runs most of its course underground. It flows above

Japanese Friendship Garden
